By using YahSu Shipping services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to protect both YahSu Shipping and our customers and to ensure smooth delivery operations.
1. Services Offered
YahSu Shipping provides USA to Jamaica air freight shipping services, including:
- Package receiving at our USA warehouse
- Air freight transportation
- Customs clearance coordination
- Local pickup or delivery within Kingston, Portmore, Spanish Town, Old Harbour, and Yallahs (St. Thomas)
2. Customer Registration & Courier Code
- Each customer is assigned a unique Courier Code (YHS-XXXX) upon registration.
- Customers must include their Courier Code beside their name or in Address Line 2 when shipping items.
- Failure to include the Courier Code may result in delays or misplacement, for which YahSu Shipping is not responsible.
3. Shipping Rates
- Shipping rates are calculated by weight (per pound) and published on our website or social media.
- Bulk rates apply only when weight thresholds are met.
- All rates are subject to change without prior notice.
4. Customs & Duties
- Jamaican Customs may apply duties, taxes, or inspection fees on packages valued over US$100.
- Customers are fully responsible for any customs duties or related charges.
- An invoice is required for items valued over US$100.
- Packages will not be released until all applicable fees are paid in full.
5. Payment Policy
- All shipping, clearance, and delivery fees must be paid before package release.
- YahSu Shipping currently accepts cash or approved transfer methods.
- No package will be released without full payment — no exceptions.
6. Delivery & Pickup
- Pickup locations and delivery arrangements are communicated after arrival.
- Delivery fees are charged separately unless otherwise stated.
- Customers must collect packages within a reasonable timeframe once notified.
7. Prohibited & Restricted Items
YahSu Shipping does not accept responsibility for prohibited items, including but not limited to:
- Illegal substances
- Firearms or ammunition
- Flammable or hazardous materials
- Counterfeit goods
Any prohibited item discovered will be reported to the relevant authorities.
8. Delays & Liability
YahSu Shipping is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Airlines
- Customs inspections
- Weather conditions
- Incorrect customer information
Liability is limited to the value declared on the shipping invoice.
9. Lost or Damaged Items
- Customers must report issues within 48 hours of pickup or delivery.
- YahSu Shipping is not responsible for manufacturer defects or poor packaging from the sender.
- Compensation (if applicable) will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
10. Right to Refuse Service
YahSu Shipping reserves the right to:
- Refuse service to any customer violating these terms
- Refuse packages that pose legal, safety, or operational risks
11. Amendments
YahSu Shipping may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any changes.
